In the past few years, our educational institutes have emphasized a broad educational mission: to develop the "complete student” concept. Extracurricular involvement is a key tool in this personal development. This gave birth to the concept of a Student Activity Council. We, at the student activity council believe in helping students reach the point of excellence an individual needs. Getting involved in these activities helps students link the academic knowledge with the external experience they have had, this in turn helps them develop their abilities. These experiences have a positive impact on the students' emotional, intellectual, social, and inter-personal development. By working together with other individuals, students learn to negotiate, communicate, manage conflict, and lead others. Taking part in these out-of-the-classroom activities helps students to understand the importance of critical thinking skills, time management, and academic and intellectual competence.
